KISS ideas for better thought processing Part 5

Updated: May 21

Let's go back to where we all started, what exactly we are developing here, we are working on a much more scientific approach to solve problems. Now the question would be what kind of problems are we talking about? Let's put some perspective into this.

Basic

Here, we are organizing the fundamental elements required for our process. This primarily involves managing your time effectively and planning your activities, whether it's your daily study routine or finding solutions to problems. One aspect we haven't addressed in the basic framework is "how." What does this "how" encompass? What approach is used to solve problems? How do you develop effective thought processes to aid in problem-solving? Good study skills involve cultivating strong thought processes around a subject.

Reduction

In marketing, market segmentation is the process of dividing a broad consumer or business market, normally consisting of existing and potential customers, into sub-groups of consumers based on some type of shared characteristics

Strategic Triangle

Everyone has goals in their life; we are all driven by some kind of purpose. Vision, in simple terms, asks these questions:

What do you want to get done?

Once you define what you want to get done, the question is how do you get it done? This is strategy. A strategy is a step-by-step process to accomplish something. When you go to war, you have a strategy to approach your enemies. When you write a competitive exam, you have an exam strategy.

Tactics ask this question how do you attain this strategy?

You can notice that we are already breaking down the task in this example itself. Once you understand the tactics, you will encounter thousands of reasons why you might not be able to do something, many of which don't make any sense. Problem-solving is all about examining these reasons, understanding them, and finding solutions to achieve your vision. This becomes crucial in cooperative decision-making, policymaking, building products and services, and making high-stakes decisions. All your goals can be deconstructed into these concepts and achieved with great precision using this scientific method.

This is the simplest way to explain a competitive exam strategy. But you get the point: don't be lazy when working on something like this. Be creative, gather as much information as possible, and build your own great strategic triangle.

In reality, there are multiple tactics and several layers of problems to solve. All of this can be systematically addressed using the ideas and systems I have introduced so far.

How do we use to use out note-making in system in solving the problem ?

Imagine you have a problem. The simplest way to think about this is to picture yourself sitting in an exam hall. You are asked a question, and you don’t have the answer. A friend hands you a cheat sheet, but it doesn't contain the answer, only clues to the answer. You read the cheat sheet and still don't know the answer. Now, you have to move forward. You leave the exam hall and start looking for the answer.

Let's analyze this situation: when you had no answer, you were given clues or pieces of information that could be put together to solve the problem. In simple terms, you are allowed to engineer a solution with the clues. Engineers are often called the Oompa Loompas of science because they use their creativity to apply scientific concepts to build great things—from fighter airplanes to rockets that take our probes to Mars and Jupiter. This process of combining information with creativity is called invention. When you cannot do this, you drill down further to mine information, which is called discovery.

Its always up to the creativity of the student to see how to apply this concept in their curriculum. The idea of introducing this system was to give a picture of how can we systematically solve problems achieve complex goals by reducing them and managing the information.

T0: This is the duration of time I do all these activities. It can be 1 day or 2 days maybe a week. All these are strictly followed it depends on what is things am dealing with and how much time I have on this. What is the priority am giving to this? Plus how many results am looking from it.

T2 :

This layer deals with the pure application of the concepts, until this time we were focused on understanding the theories and simulation room. Now, this is the time you need to use these ideas to solve the problems. If you are a coder or an engineer you can start working on implementing this idea and test them. If you were dealing with more academic research then try writing some good blog on the idea. The idea is to make your effort to use. This can be anything from editing a video, making some artistic work. In the previous section, we have already discussed the scope of the thinking system and how to build tools to think. Build it.
